Cucumbers wear condoms

AMSTERDAM – Everybody has a cabinet stuffed with plastic bags. It’s a typical case of half measures. Tossing away a plastic bag immediately doesn’t feel good. That’s why we postpone it until a mound of plastic attacks you when opening the kitchen cabinet. So starts my guilt trip.

Dubai sucks!

LONDON – Visitors to Dubai’s five star Palazzo Versace hotel will soon be able to cool off on the world’s first refrigerated beach. No, this is not a joke. It seems in Dubai, their approach to global warming is to speed it up.

The owner of the hotel, Soheil Abedian, says: “This is the kind of luxury top people want.”

Three party goers

A packed Waldorf at first Strawberries & Cream!!

AMSTERDAM - The launch of Strawberries & Cream was simply awesome! A success for the environment and a damn good party at the same time.

Around 140 people came to drink for a better climate. There were so many that crowds had to wait outside. Luckily the gluhwine helped to warm them up. We raised €2000!! 60% of that amount (€1200) will now be used towards making eco-upgrades in the bar.
