Maskinen performing at Strawberry Earth Hotel Crash!
AMSTERDAM - Strawberry Earth is a platform for creative people who care about the environment. But it still surprises us when big acts like Maskinen also want to get involved with our events. Maskinen is a Swedish band whose first single, “Alla som inte dansar“, was released in 2007 and quickly became a big hit single. The song also reached far beyond Sweden’s borders and has been played and praised by the world’s biggest DJs. Their subsequent singles “Segertåget” and “Pengar” and this personal favourite of ours combine hip-hop, electro and heavy incendiary beats. There’s never been a better chance to see these guys live in a venue as private as Hotel V.
After a long spring and summer of touring in New York, Brazil and throughout the Nordic region, and an inspirational trip to Brazil, Maskinen are now ready to show that the machine is still well-lubricated and tuned. They’re releasing a new single and their long-awaited album, brilliantly entitled: ”Boys II Men”. It was released on 18/11 at Pope Records, a full-length album with works by renowned manufacturers such as Style Of Eye, EDU K, Filthy, Gorky (Bonde Do Rolê) and others.
