Cecily Layzell

Cecily is a writer, editor, translator (and frustrated photographer) based in Amsterdam. She started her career as copywriter for a communications agency but went freelance at the end of 2008 into order to have more control over what she wrote about and for whom. Her passions are food, film and travel but she’s happiest when she can combine several of these passions, like reviewing a film about food or going in search of an organic restaurant in an unexpected corner of Europe.
