Launch of Strawberries & Cream!!!
AMSTERAM - Op zondag 7 december is het tijd voor ons eerste Strawberries & Cream event! Strawberries & Cream gaat over het duurzamer maken van onze planeet door op een volstrekt unieke manier gebruik te maken van de macht van de consument. Om 21.00 uur zal Strawberries & Cream losbarsten in café Waldorf aan de Elandsgracht nr. 2 in Amsterdam.
Hoe werkt het?
We hebben verschillende bars gevraagd hoeveel ze van hun omzet opzij wilden investeren in eco-vriendelijke aanpassingen aan hun bar. In ruil daarvoor bestormen wij het café met een hoos aan klanten, op een normaal gesproken rustige avond.
De bar met het hoogste bod is café Waldorf geworden. Waldorf besteedt maar liefst 60% van de omzet aan eco-vriendelijke aanpassingen. En daarom wordt café Waldorf beloond met een Strawberries & Cream night! Met de opbrengst van het feest zal eco-specialist Search B.V. café Waldor eco-vriendelijker maken. Search is gespecialiseerd in het energiezuiniger maken van gebouwen. Gebouwen zijn grote energieverslinders en daar valt dus veel winst te behalen.

The day after: beetje n kater maar het was erg geslaagd en ook nog een goed gesprek gevoerd met een jongedame/oud medewerkster waldorf die nu aan eco management doet - of was het nu - wil gaan doen..
