In just two weeks we have Strawberry Earth Hotel Crash! an eco pyjama party aimed at transforming one of Amsterdam’s hippest hotels, Hotel V, into a greener place to spend the night. This summer we’ll bring you The Dutch Environmental Film Festival 2010. And there’s even talk of a four city road tour before the end of the year. But we’re also very excited about a new collaboration on the way… We’ve been invited by uber-blogger Nalden.net to help him write a monthly update

Maskinen performing at Strawberry Earth Hotel Crash!
AMSTERDAM - Strawberry Earth is a platform for creative people who care about the environment. But it still surprises us when big acts like Maskinen also want to get involved with our events. Maskinen is a Swedish band whose first single, “Alla som inte dansar“, was released in 2007 and quickly became a big hit single. The song also reached far beyond Sweden’s borders and has been played and praised by the world’s biggest DJs. Their subsequent singles “Segertåget” and “Pengar” and this personal favourite of ours combine hip-hop, electro and heavy incendiary beats. There’s never been a better chance to see these guys live in a venue as private as Hotel V.

AMSTERDAM - On Saturday, 16 January 2010 Strawberry Earth is holding a world first event: Strawberry Earth Hotel Crash! All 48 rooms of Hotel V in Amsterdam are turning Strawberry for one night! And 100% of all the money raised will be used to make Hotel V eco friendlier.
PARTY: Party with some special Strawberry guests: Sweden’s finest musical exports: DJs from Slagsmalksklubben and Festa med Killar and Amsterdam’s own RedNose Distrikt.
